Auto Windscreens celebrates 62% plant business boost with free chips at Plant and Machinery Live
Auto Windscreens has today announced a 62% increase to its plant glass repair business in 2018* and is celebrating by giving away free portions of chips at this week’s Plant and Machinery Live in Birmingham (9-11 October).
The year-on-year growth is a result of a concerted effort to bolster the division’s presence in the market since launching at the start of last year, with key areas for its dedicated in-house plant team being construction, agriculture, airside and quarrying sectors.
Auto Windscreens’ Operations Manager Claire Church, who will be helping to dish out chips and information on the firm’s stand at the show, commented: “Our focus on devising a service that has excellence, quality and flexibility at its core has contributed to us now being a top UK glazing provider to plant and associated specialist industries.”
She added: “We are exceptionally proud of this achievement and are in a strong position to further this growth.”
Auto Windscreens launched its UK-wide plant department in 2017, offering supply and fit, fit only and remove and refit services. Specially trained technicians are able cut and fit flat laminated glass on site and are qualified to carry out work in a variety of specialist areas. Accreditations include: BSI ISO9001 - Quality, ISO 14001 - Environmental and OHSAS 18001 - Health and Safety standards. Auto Windscreens also holds SafeContractor approval and is Avetta accredited.
