Auto Windscreens Joins Campaign for Gender Balance

Wednesday, 7 Aug 2024

We have proudly joined the Automotive 30% Club, a network of over 70 automotive CEOs and MDs committed to being inclusive leaders and building diverse, gender-balanced businesses.

Founded by Julia Muir in March 2016 with 12 Founder Members, the Automotive 30% Club aims to transform the sector by promoting gender diversity. While the majority of our members are men, we recognise the invaluable contributions of women’s and all specialist EDI networks in creating inclusive cultures. We encourage our members to support such networks actively.

Our participation in the Automotive 30% Club aligns with their mission to support and encourage leaders to increase female representation at all levels. This step is a testament to our dedication to making meaningful, sustainable changes within our organisation.

Here’s how the Automotive 30% Club supports transformation:

  • Sharing best practices on increasing female representation, addressing the underrepresentation of women in the automotive industry.
  • Providing resources and information for businesses aiming to improve diversity.
  • Leveraging public media and social media to foster support and awareness.
  • Promoting research to guide efforts towards driving change.

By joining this campaign, Auto Windscreens is not only committing to gender balance within our company but also contributing to the broader business community’s efforts to create a more inclusive environment.
