Auto Windscreens, and parent company Markerstudy, are thrilled to be supporting Ashgate Hospicecare’s ‘Support a Nurse’ campaign by promoting it on its on-site bus. Picking up employees from Chesterfield station to take them to the Britannia Road office, the bus has continuous presence and will help spread the campaign’s message in the local area.

Having been long supporters of the hospice, last year Auto Windscreens employees raised over £1,100 through ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge and this year, Markerstudy ALEX apprentices have been working with the hospice as part of their Corporate and Social Responsibility Project. The apprentices have arranged charity events, raising over £350, and also organised volunteers from the Group to work at the hospice.

James MacBeth, Operations Director at Auto Windscreens, comments: “We’ve been based in Chesterfield since 1971 and are always keen to support the local area. We have a close association with Ashgate Hospicecare and are proud to once again be helping to promote them and their services!”

Matthew Duffy, Group Contact Centre Manager for Markerstudy, comments: “The on-site bus is a fantastic way to promote Ashgate to the local area and we wish them the best of luck with their campaign.”

Ali Ward-Foster, Partnerships Manager at Ashgate Hospicecare, said, “It is absolutely fantastic that Auto Windscreens and Markerstudy have chosen to support the hospice in this way. Support from companies like these is incredibly important. Each week 16 people across north Derbyshire who need hospice care can’t receive it. With the support of businesses like Auto Windscreens and Markerstudy spreading the word about Ashgate Hospicecare, we can increase the number of hospice nurses at the hospice and in our community.”
