Valentine’s Day fundraiser makes £770 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

Monday, 18 Feb 2019

Love was in the air at Auto Windscreens on Valentine’s Day last week, with staff raising over £770 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Employees at the company’s Storforth Lane site donated money to wear red or pink and take part in themed games, including bingo, as well as a raffle, cake sale and sweepstakes. A series of ‘first dates’ were also organised for those brave enough to put their names forward to see if love was on the menu.

Victoria Peel, Contact Centre Business Manager, organised the event: “Our teams have shown again that they are always up for fun in the name of charity… and romance! The atmosphere was brilliant and we are incredibly proud to have raised so much for a fantastic local cause.”
